The bathroom was of the living room and the house was smaller than it looked in the photo

Comfortable bed. Staff provided a replacement for a broken toaster very swiftly.

Please provide a sponge for washing up and cleaning surfaces and hob. There were 2 dirty mugs in a cupboard . Warn guests to not feed seagulls. I saw a lady feeding them . They're noisy and rude enough .

The house needed a broom. As it was annoying having to hover the floor everyday

The apartment was a base for us and reasonable. Three bedrooms as described and basic amenities were covered. Good selection of cooking equipment and crockery. Decent location and easy to find, we were out all of the time visiting lots of different places. The newly renovated areas were nice, new carpet and laminate and areas in the bathroom and kitchen looked smart. The shop was well stocked and had really friendly staff as well as the grounds being well maintained and kept tidy.

The apartment wasn't very clean upon arrival. Thick layers of grime on the microwave and fridge doors, lots of fingerprints and food particals around the kitchen taps. I cleaned through everywhere before we unpacked. The bathroom was grubby too, the dust around the toilet, taps and tiles. I bought cleaning products and a cloth to be able to feel it was reasonably clean before we started. The bedding unfortunately smelled quite sour, but I couldn't do much about that. The advertised facilities weren't what we were expecting. The restaurant was closed at 9pm each night, removing the options to play pool and snooker. Also the swimming pool had to be booked for use, there was no mention of that in the booking information for the trip. We are keen swimmers and had planned to swim everyday. We didn't use the pool once, the one occasion we did book it, the reception staff had omitted to tell us it was only available for Aqua Jets. This is a children's swim club, therefore we were a bit old to join in. I wasn't aware until after booking that the apartment was in such a large location, we thought it was one of a few on the estate. Despite the disappointment we made the most of our holiday with the location being ideal for beach days and various other local attractions. I would be hesitant to use Booking.com again, this experience has made me think twice.

It was very spacious considering how small the house is. With a great big Tv and selection of dvds. Felt very relaxed and great deal for the price.

We couldn’t even get into our property as our key code was incorrect. As we booked privately it was very stressful and confusing to get hold of someone to help us but Kelly at the reception tried her hardest and finally got us in. The property had zero wifi and the signal was terrible so we couldn’t use any mobile date either. It gets very hot if windows are closed. It’s quite the walk to the station so better to come with a car.

Wanting to explore St. Ives’ and Hayle beaches, this property is in an ideal location. As an apartment the facilities in the kitchen especially were fantastic. The park itself would be ideal for a family with small children.

Only one small gripe. Although all the surfaces were exceptionally clean the same couldn’t be said for the floor. A quick mop sorted that out.
