Villa Cecilia - pieds dans l'eau

This is an amazing property.

We spent a few days at Villa Cecilia in September. It is a wonderful and magical place! This villa was built in the end of the 19th century, and it is very beautiful and inviting. Everything is taken care of, from a guide to the local businesses to the electric adapters for the microwave and any other electric outlets. The views to Monte Isola are spectacular. Our host Marco was very nice and responsive, we enjoyed our stay very much and can certainly recommend it to anyone travelling in this part of Italy.

The location is pristine. The view from the house is heavenly. Not as busy and fancy as the neighboring Garda but amazing and full of new cultural discoveries. Hosts made us feel like.home.

The villa is absolutely beautiful. Moreover, the view from the villa is unmatched (even better than from the top of monte isola). At the villa, everywhere you look, there is something beautiful to see! Marco was a very kind and attentive host and really appreciated all the work that was done to have a list of places and experiences when you arrive. Kitchen and bathrooms were all quite modern so you have all the perks of a beautiful old villa without the inconveniences of older facilities.

The boat at the bottom of the house is a bit noisy - and the stairs/floors of the house make noise, as is to be expected when you’re staying in an older place. The charm and the uniqueness of the place far make up for these minor inconveniences in my opinion.

Gorgeous villa, comfortable and cozy holiday home! Great host Marco! We felt at home! Everything you need is in the house. We slept very well, despite the fact that there is a road nearby, comfortable mattresses and pillows. Silent fans in every room were very helpful. In the local area, silence and the sound of water. Incredible pleasure to have a private pier! We were constantly in the water, and jumped like children! Insanely beautiful nature, wonderful mild climate, cool nights. Grill!!! We cooked ourselves and had dinner on the terrace, in the evening the garden and the pier are beautifully illuminated. Nearby there are several cafes and bars, a pier from where you can go by boat on the lake or to the island. We are delighted with the days spent at the villa, by the lake, in chic conditions and in beautiful nature! Please take care of the house! We highly recommend Marco and his villa!
