"Best house in worst street"

Property is very close to the city centre and it's new so it's pleasant to stay in. With electric scooters you can get to the city in about 5 minutes otherwise it's a quick 15 - 20 min walk.

While the property is "brand new" we were disappointed by the location, which is situated in a low socio-economic area with nearby properties of concern (we renamed it the dodge-lodge). There is no private parking so the location doesn't give you peace of mind if parking your rental car on the side of the road . As for the "free scooters", there is only 2 for a four person accommodation (so no use for us) and again disappointing as it would have made a world of difference for our time in Christchurch

just there is no aircon in the room and soundproof is not as good.
