Villa Alba d'Amalfi - The dawn one step from the Heaven

Most amazing view of amalfi, great house, nice little jacuzzi, very nice garden.

All the furniture outside was very dirty, the house wasnt cleaned very good and all the kitchenware wasnt cleaned. 250 steps like 11 stories to get to the house which was really tiresome especially after a long day.

Beautiful villa with an outstanding view.

Just the stairs to reach it, but it's part of the experience.

Private and quiet. Views were amazing like another world. Host was fantastic attentive and available really genuine.

The view is fantastic and the house is clean and attractive. Comparing to other locations along the coast, here, being away from the heavily polluted centre you enjoy clean air. The host, Paolo, was very helpful with his knowledge of the area and competent suggestions - Thanks!

Electricity supply is not stable (obviously a problem for the whole area). You need a car to be there but the parking places are scare. You cannot park on designated places (!), these are reserved for the locals. For people from Scandinavia feels strange to park only outside marked areas.

The starry skies, breathtaking view, terrace.

215 steps. This is really tough especially with the luggage. But it is worth it. Yes, you will think you are dying when climbing up and stairs are ineed horrible, no exaggeration. imagine the most difficult path up the hill, then double it and this is what you should expect. When we were booking we though other people dramatize. No, they didn't dramatize. The stairs will leave you out of breath. the advice is - take no luggage, just enough food and drinks for all your stay and stay up enjoying the air, the sky and the view

Between the parking lot of the apartment and the apartment itself it is necessary to climb more than 200 steps. When doing it with luggage you need to be fit

This property is managed by Paolo, who is the best host I've had at a rental property, and we travel extensively. He met us in Naples at the train station to drive us to the property and was very accommodating of all our needs, even driving us down to the ferry dock at 7:15am on the day of our departure! He's also incredibly reachable on WhatsApp and answered my many(!) questions patiently and promptly. The view from this home is SPECTACULAR. But travelers need to understand that this view is only as good as it is because the house is high up from the street; there are 200 stairs up to the property and they're serious stairs. The climb is a bit taxing but Paolo carried our heavy luggage and, again, the view makes it worth the climb. Visitors also need to understand that this house is not actually in the town of Amalfi; it is a 10-12 minute car ride to the town center. It's up in the hills around Amalfi...again, that's how it has the amazing view. :) We were two couples and it was a very comfortable stay in the house. There's plenty of room for all and the rooms are spacious and bright (with great blackout shutters in the bedrooms). The shower has nice, strong water pressure and it's convenient to have a washer on property.

Everything was wonderful! The views, the house...The kitchen very nice. The terrace...perfect place for coffee in the morning watching the sunrise. We had the best stay and we would definetely stay here again!

The terraces, outdoor space, views and spacious home. Host was helpful. We found parking every night. Bedroom doors opened to the sea view and terrace.
