The proximity to the city centre

There were not enough supplies, there was no toilet paper

Setting was very nice and the kids enjoyed the local facilities in the evening in terms of crazy golf

Parking wasn't the easiest and was additional fees of approx 15 pounds on top

Beautiful little spot right in the middle of town. Walking distance from everything. Clean, tidy and well stocked with things to do. Would highly recommend.

The apartment was clean, tidy, and fresh with everything made up correctly, as we had requested in terms of sleeping setup for our group. The hosts were fantastic in communicating with us, explaining how to turn the hot water on when we got there, and there was plenty of hot water for our entire party for our stay and the pressure perfect. They also provided us with some reccomendations for a spot to eat after our initial plans had to change. Whilst we ate out there are suitable facilities to allow for self-catering and eating in if preferred. I loved the little touches at the apartment, tea/coffee making facilities in addition to the dartboard which made for some good evening entertainment before we went out. I will be honest and say we were a little apprehensive given some of the previous reviews, but we really didn't need to be as I assume whatever previous issues there were have been addressed and we had a fantastic stay. We will absolutely stay here again and also recommend to friends. The apartment is in a brilliant location and the price is really reasonable.

There wasn't anything that we didn't like specifically but for being in such a good location there is a small amount of noise from outside but nothing extreme, or what you wouldn't expect from a prime town centre location. Maybe if you are really noise sensitive, take some ear plugs. The communal access area to the flat could do with a bit of a tidy, but this is out of the hosts control, and once you are in the apartment, it really has no impact upon your stay at all.

Location was great and the communication from the hosts can not be faulted

The room had not been cleaned when we arrived at 4pm even though at 1.16pm earlier that afternoon I received a confirmation of check in was available from 3pm. I am guessing (or hoping) that this was an automated message that is sent to guests as clearly the hosts were not made aware that the cleaning had not taken place. Otherwise I am sure the hosts would have messaged or called me in advance to alert me. The hosts are as stated, aware of a hot water/boiler problem. We didn't think this would be a major problem and maybe it's intermittent; we had no hot water for our duration. One of our guests are in the building developments trade and couldn't work out why it was like this. Maybe the current hot water solution needs further work. The other thing that needs massive attention yet not sure if this is possible due to a shared building, the communal area was awful - entrance hall with mail everywhere, not hoovered at all, up the stairs and the landing too, just really grubby. A very small item is that there's only 1 key for both the main front door and the flat itself. If, as was the case with our group, a couple wanted to stay and sleep while others went out, you are not able to lock the flat door because the key needs to be put back inside the key box at the bottom so not the best personal security/fire situation you could be in. Lastly, it may be worth looking at being clearer from the outset regarding the setup of beds and that 2 of the beds are doubles only. Wasn't perfect for us, not a deal breaker this time round though so booked anyway after finding this out. Again, as stated before the hosts' communications were spot on at all times. Everything about this place was incredible, we had a group of 6 friends for a night out in Bournemouth, we ended up going back and watching Netflix at 2am all cuddled up on the sofa bed in the front room Place was super clean, plenty of glasses available for us all without the need to wash up, easy to get into and was a great time killer to play darts and pool.

Instructions to find the place wasn't overly clear, something like "the yellow door opposite Revolution" would be a great thing to add, ended up having to call in to find the entrance, but the lady who picked up was friendly and helpful.
