Die Wohnung liegt im ersten Stock eines 3 stöckigen Hauses (es gibt mehrere Häuser) einer umzäunten Anlage. Der Parkplatz ist direkt am Haus. Wir konnten unsere Sachen schon in der Wohnung ablegen, obwohl die nette Dame, die sauber gemacht hat, noch dort war. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber. Die Küchenausstattung war sehr gut. Es gibt eine Kaffeekapselmaschine. Die Lage in Hout Bay war für uns super. Ein Supermarkt ist fußläufig zu erreichen. Ebenso gibt es dort ein Parkhaus (kostenlos) und ein kleines Einkaufszentrum. Die Kommunikation über Booking war einwandfrei. Mit dem Mietwagen ist man in 25 Min an der V&A Waterfront. Parken dort war sehr günstig. Für ca 2 Std haben wir umgerechnet €1,10 bezahlt. Für uns war es ein sehr gelungener Aufenthalt.

It was exceptionally clean, neat and comfy. Beautifully and tastefully furnished and decorated. Top notch appliances. The bedding was also lovely (although would recommend 1 or 2 flatter pillows). There was even a Nespresso machine with pods. Lovely touch! Felt homey and we could totally just chill and enjoy our time making food and watching Netflix. On our way out we ran into Alice the cleaner and she was so so sweet. As she came in she saw our bags that we were about to take down to the car and she swiftly picked it up and carried them down to the car. We told her she really didnt need to as they were quite heavy. And her response was "I am here to help you with anything." That certainly ended the weekend on a high note. We were truly sad to leave.

There may be a drain/plumbing issue that needs attention. There was a wierd unpleasant smell in the bathroom. You also sometimes got a stagnant water smell in from the kitchen and from outside somewhere. Maybe water that is not draining properly somewhere. We popped some drain cleaner in the shower drain but it made no difference. Then a minor thing hardly worth mentioning, there were 2 toilet rolls and it was just short for us 3 adults. So 3 or 4 would do nicely.

Comfort and well equipped, clean , stylish apartment. The location is great with easy access to the beach and shops.

We had a wonderful stay in this lovely, clean, and neat apartment located in a well-secured estate in a great neighborhood. The apartment had everything we needed, and the convenience of nearby stores was a bonus. We appreciated the short drive to the beach (walking distance) where we enjoyed walks and meals at nearby restaurants. The perfect spot for a family getaway! Highly recommend.
