202-Beautiful City GEM near the beach with Free Parking

The property is clean, well appointed, and has three bedrooms, sleeping 6 people (the single bed room has a trundle bed.). The kitchen is mostly well appointed, although the refrigerator was not working while we were there - although the freezer was. It’s really well situated, near a bus stop (and we used that bus - it was pretty easy- to go to see the murals on Calle Cerra and it goes to Old San Juan. Beds are comfortable, kitchen has lots of pans, no oven. Pueblo is also just steps away as well as many good restaurants. Also near the art museum, which is amazing. It is a bit of a drive to the beach - largely because of the traffic - but not overly far.

We were excited to have a property with a decent kitchen, and the night we arrived we went to Pueblo to get groceries. We had a 9 year old picky eater and a vegetarian with us. The next morning we woke up to discover the refrigerator compartment was warm (though the freezer was working just fine - churning out ice.). We had a lot of back and forth on Booking with the owner who did not respond reasonably to our need. We had bought raw chicken (which we switched to the freezer that morning, then ate fully cooked that night, and tried rotating our dairy products between freezer and refrigerator. The first time we asked about it they did not even send someone into the apartment! And we had left someone there all day while the rest of us went to the beach. While the chicken was OK, someone did get food poisoning from another food, and we ended up throwing a lot of food out spoiled in our three day stay. Even giving us a cooler for the food would have been better! Also - there were a LOT of steps to the unit. Not a problem for most people, but if you have knee problems, or fear of heights, it can be problematic.
