"Most satisfactory. We would stay there again if we revisit the Peak District."

Breakfast and location were very good. The residents' lounge, where we could grab a coffee and cake on returning from a day's walk, was very well received. Service in the dining room was efficient and politely offered.

The glaring omission, in our view, was a drying room. It rained on every one of our four walking days so we had a lot of wet kit to deal with. I don't suppose the management would be too happy to have wet clothing being draped around our room, but that's what we were obliged to do.
