"Excellent value"

3rd time visiting and I cannot fault. Perfect location for exploring with on site bar and restaurant. Free teas and coffees in the lounge and even a cinema room! This hotel is immaculately clean and very comfortable.

This was my first time staying in a room on the side of the hotel facing the road. If road noises bothers you, try to request a room facing the car park.

Everything was great. Really enjoyed the stay

Maybe could have done with 2 chairs not just 1 and a glass missing but they didnt affect our stay at all

"Good, but not good value"

Great location, friendly staff and a good restaurant

Noisy (the road noise is constant, and the windows don't do much to block it out), light isn't blocked out by the blinds, and it's hot (no aircon or temperature controls, though you do get a fan). Our room could have done with a touch more attention to cleaning and maintenance (the TV remote was sticky, there was coffee spilt on the side table, which was missing a foot, and there was dog hair and dust in some areas). For the price, I was a little let down.

"Great short break in the heart of the Peak District"

Very modern, clean and comfortable accommodation. We loved the bed and bathroom and the bar/longe were great.

As other guests have commented the rooms are warm/hot and the pillows could be better but minor issues
