2 Bedroom House - Beautifully Decorated & Furnished - Parking - Large Garden

The house had everything we needed for our daily use Not forgetting a travel coat since we had a baby They also gave us breakfast on our arrival.

The bin needs a bit of cleaning

Very disappointed in this accommodation and the the actions of the owner. The house was not particularly clean, cobwebs, dust, dirty windows, Shower also not great. When mentioned as part of another issue, we were told ‘well it was spotless when I brought the fresh in’ it was not. Only one very small plastic waste paper bin for the whole house. We went and bought bin bags and washing up liquid as the one there was empty. Worse still was the Carbon Monoxide detector had no batteries in it, again this was excused by blaming previous guests.. Batteries then replaced which then proved to be faulty or there was a leak.. the response from owner was less than satisfactory. The ‘new boiler’ was not completely finished as it was being propped up by a piece of wood, and unfinished work to the ceiling. I think we were quite reasonable and fair as we could have made a bigger issue as CO2,detector is a legal requirement. Looking at a previous negative review we will probably receive some placatory or unhelpful response. This the worst stay we have had. Absolutely not worth the money. A few changes and taking note of previous reviews would help to improve these unacceptable issues.

I’ve rented plenty of air b&b’s and this is by far the worst. I was assured that the property is “thoroughly cleaned”. There were cobwebs everywhere in the house. The sheets and duvet in the main bedroom smelled like dog urine and we had to borrow sheets from friends. The oven wasn’t working and we had to wait for someone to come and sort it out. And finally! We asked when the rubbish bins will be collected, to be told it’s on a Tuesday. We took them out and no collection was made! When we reached out for assistance we were sent the “rota” that stated the collection is actually on a Thursday! Worst experience ever! Not worth the price! The only reason we stayed was that there was no other close by properties and we needed for personal reasons to be close to family.

House is modern, warm and comfortable in a quiet location with friendly neighbours. Located close to all amenities such as beach, dog walking areas, leisure centre, shopping etc.

Nothing at all. A higher score would simply have needed perhaps a bigger garden for our dogs, and better clothes drying facilities. We have no complaints.

Scrupulously clean house, well kept and an 8 min bike ride from Newbiggin sea front. A very quiet housing estate. Close to facilities such as supermarkets. Owners left bread, jam and milk for our arrival. Excellent communication. Highly recommended

Bigger bin in the kitchen & more elsewhere.

Last minute booking, Sean couldn't have been more helpful. House was amazing, beautifully presented, comfortable and everything you need. One of the best places we've ever stayed.

Shame about the issue with the boiler, owner came first time and got hot water back on, next day it had gone cold again but as it was check out day we skipped asking them to come back.

The property was lovely and clean we have stopped at the property on more than one occasion and it is always to a amazing standard it's our go to place when we choose to stop in the area.

Great communication with the owner . Very clean and comfortable . If you are looking for a property in this area .this is a fantastic house to rent
