L'alba in Lucca with AC

We loved our stay here. There is air conditioning in all bedrooms and living areas. The apartment was exceptionally clean with modern appliances and comfortable beds and furniture. The kitchen and equipment is excellent and a family could easily cook meals here. The location is a short walk to and from the train station. There are a few nearby shops to buy groceries. The apartment is a few minutes walk to the old city where there are plenty of shops, restaurants, bars and tourist attractions with a vibrant and safe atmosphere. The area seemed to be safe and the locals were very pleasant and helpful. It's a superb place to stay to visit other towns, cities and attractions. The host was very attentive and helpful. We will stay here again to make it a base to explore Tuscany in the future.

The apartment is on the first floor overlooking a main road but it has a nice view. It's only 25 steps up from the main entrance. We often heard ambulances going past. However, I would not let that deter you from staying here because the windows are very sound proof and we did not hear any ambulances during the evening and slept soundly every night. I think the ambulance sirens are not used in the late evening and during the night. It's such a great location that we were hardly inside the apartment during the day Being english, we thought that a kettle might have been useful to make our cups of tea. We used a saucepan to boil water, but that's not a tragedy to most people :). There is a Western Union next to the entrance that has a coffee machine and we got some excellent cappuccino and chocolate drinks for 50 cents euro! However, there is a coffee making machine in the apartment.

Location and cleanliness

Fold out bed in lounge was particularly uncomfortable. Had to put this on the floor to make not as bad. I understand the host is going to replace this.

Location was excellent. The kicthen was fully equiped, a big plus was washing machine and dryer. They prepared everything for us very well. The staff was very friendly. Would recommend.

The sofa bed was not really comfortable, but we slept really good.

Close to the station, convenient for exploring Lucca.

Aunque estaban las ventanas cerradas por la mañana había un poco de ruido de la calle. Pero nada grave.

Die Lage war Prima. Altstadtnähe, Parkplätze vor der Tür zu finden. Ausstattung vollkommen ausreichend. Klima in jedem Raum. Ausgestattete Küche. Sogar mit den nötigsten Gewürzen, etc.

Great location - short walk to walls, close to station and cheap roadside parking outside. Lovely and clean inside, aircon throughout, well stocked with basics

Dicht bij treinstation, maar ook op wandelafstand van de stad, ruim en goed ingericht

Bushalte voor de deur beneden (wat ook wel handig is natuurlijk, als je de bus wil gebruiken)

Excellent location near to the train station also to the city walls and old town. Well equipped with washing machine and three Daikin clima, so very comfortable and clean.
