"Great spot to stay on our journey!"

We were traveling west and we had just visited Mount Rushmore. We wanted to get a little further as we plan to see devil's Tower the following day. We found the town of Upton to be a great place and Iron Creek perfectly met our needs for an overnight stay! The hotel is relatively new and it was very clean and tidy. The staff was very welcoming. They served a continental breakfast and we enjoyed meeting other travelers in a relaxed atmosphere at breakfast. That being said, if you are not looking for conversation, the setting is just as conducive to that as well.

This is brand new hotel in a cute little town. The beds are very comfortable and the breakfast was delicious! This hotel does not have an elevator. If you have any issues with stairs it’s probably best to request a room on the first floor.
