GBIt was right in the centre of Buxton which after a lovely walk gives you plenty of options of where to chill out and have some well earned food and drinks.the area was very quiet.
The floorboards were very creepy ,the double bed also creeked every time you moved,the lounge area was a little claustrophobic.
GBI stayed here with my dog for 2 nights. The place was perfect, it is close to the town and walks. It also had all the channels on TV, netflix prime itvx etc. I felt so comfortable and i would definitely stay again. Many thanks Tom 👍😊
No faults at all it was perfect.
GBThe host provided pre practical information related to the property and parking which was very helpful. The location was very central too ,with lots of local amenities, options for activities, walks without having to drive anywhere. The check in was straight forward and easy with the lockbox. It was a quiet and relaxing place to stay.
It was very cold on the first night ,whilst the top floor was very warm and cosy with the provided oil filled radiator, the first floor bedroom and bathroom were particularly cold as was the living area. I think some type of central heating would have really helped given it is still cold during late winter, early spring. I think if we had booked earlier in the winter it would have been even colder! The parking too was quite difficult, especially with one of us having a big car. On the first night I had to park further away.
GBGreat location, cozy, had most things you would require for a weekend break, heated blanket for bed.
Strong smell of dog when you walked in we have a dog so we where OK with it but might be off puttingif you didn't, lack of heating (portable heaters where provided but cold when moving from one room to another from living area to upstairs for e.g.). Missing some small essentials such as iron and ironing board, washing up liquid, pepper.
