"It’s not worth the money to stay here and"

4.0

We stayed in mega pod 2. We are still waiting for a random deposit refund because the owners take £200 extra on top of your booking money out of your account and they say they don’t give this back for 20 days! I unfortunately lost the key to the door I think it fell down the decking slats outside the mega pod not on the beach where I first thought. The owners took two hours to find someone to come out to let us in.There is no one on site to help you out if you need support. They the. charged me a mega call out fee of £30 and £20 for a replacement key!!! A standard key are usually only £3 to get cut and a call out fee should only be £15 max! I contacted them at 7pm and it was just before 9pm on the first night before we was able to get back in again. We were so tired from our journey and the food we picked up was stone cold so our first night was ruined. The bathroom in the pod has mould at the back of the toilet and signs of damp on the walls. It’s a strange miniature bathroom combined toilet set up which becomes a slip hazard once you use.It takes ages to drain the water away completely and dry out. When the bathroom door is shut and you are in the kitchen the door randomly pops opens to the bathroom and it did this a few times during the night too. There is a metal bin in the pod for rubbish when we took the bag out to empty it the bottom was full of damp rust all inside.
