Kgees - Hill Town Hotel

The room was great. The breakfast buffet was sumptuous. The room was neat and clean. Absolutely no issues there. The dinner closed early at 0915. We took a non-AC room, which I wasn't aware of - felt I had an AC room. But given the weather, it worked out well. Excellent staff. Restaurant service times are long (most restaurants in the area have this issue), but they are good otherwise. Strongly recommend this hotel.

(1) The hotel asks for prepayment. This is surprising as if the prepayment is required, it should show on booking.com at the time of booking... However, on booking.com the specific hotel didn't require pre-payment at the time of reservation and immediately afterwards, we kept receiving WA and emails to make the payment. We were sure to go, hence, we didn't have any issues. But the experience was a put-off in the way it was conducted. (2) We had asked for Hill View rooms. But we got the roadside rooms. (3) The hotel parking is on the other side of the street. That's a bit concerning as the place is cramped with too many vehicles.
