Woodstock B&B & Studio Apartments

Lugnt ock väldigt vackert beläget. Vi hyrde lägenhet som var mysig och sängarna var bara så sköna! Mycket trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Fantastiskt att sitta ute i en varm jacuzzi i ösregn! Frukosten var utmärkt och ett plus för syrade grönsaker samt våfflor.

We got special made vegan breakfast. Base on raw food with additional fruits, drinks and non dairy products. Delicious, nutritious and free of charge. I’ve been eating mostly vegan for over 20 years. This treatment stood out and they deserve credit for it. Thank you 🙏🏼 We stayed as couple along with my parents. Dad has Parkinson dementia. My wife is from Myanmar. Me and mom are autistic. We asked for vegan breakfast. Trip was to celebrate grandma turning 90. Everything went great. That says a lot.

Small room on ground level had weak shower.

This is an absolute 10/10! The room was so nice, with lots of sockets close to the beds, a fully equipped kitchen with food (breakfast) and a modern shower. You had a large patio with chairs to sit outside. Also the furniture and decoration is so nice! Big Tv with option to watch Netflix. The host was soo kind and funny. We fully enjoyed this stay.

Top class accommodation in a natural setting. The level of quality is just amazing, great and comfortable sleep and everything you need in the room. Also many thanks to the host for great service and late hours welcome

The beds were comfy

We were made to feel unwelcome at the very first moment upon meeting the owners, Eva and Roland. Disturbing jokes were made several times regarding killing. We could not wash or dry our clothes as the washing machine was broken. We had to take our washing elsewhere which cost us money and precious time. We got given very minimal towels for our 5 days stay. They were small towels and we only got given 5 towels when there were 8 of us staying. Also, no foot mats or hand towels either. They weren't helpful when asked regarding this matter. The rooms weren't equipped with enough bowels or mugs and cuttlery for the amount of people staying. The husband (Roland) was intimidating towards my son while he was in the basement playing games on the console by himself. We found sharp pins lying around on the floor in the games room. We were accused of broken things that we had nothing to do with. I was treated very rudely and ignored by Roland as he said he would only speak to my husband. We were told we were not welcome to use the pool or outdoor kitchen area after we had made a complaint as they took offense to it. This meant that some of us never got to enjoy the pool or spa. It caused much disappointment! We were made to feel so unwelcome that we stayed away the last couple nights elsewhere. The owners tried to change the rules to suit them. We were sent indoors at 9pm instead of the 10pm curfew it mentions in the rule book. When we tried to cancel our booking in June, 1 month before our stay, we were told that they would keep 50% of our deposit. Later we read on booking.com that we still had time to cancel without any fee! If we knew this truth earlier we would have changed our plans! Rooms were dusty upon arrival and dead flies on windowsill. Shower pressure poor. (The only petty complaint in my opinion)

Big TV in every room, a lot of activities possible, nice Jacuzzi outside, friendly host

Cleanliness - mold in coffee maker, yoghurt off date, generally not clean floors. Please upgrade your cleaning to make this place more comfortable.

If you are looking for a unique, quiet get-away near Stockholm, Woodstock might just be the perfection option for you. It is close to the city, as well as Uppsala, Sigtuna and Arlanda airport, yet still firmly situated in the countryside. This means the surrounding area is quiet and full of nature, yet it is still easy to go places. There are several units at the B&B, and my unit was very complete and well organized. A comfortable bed, a relaxing lounge chair, a fairly complete kitchen (though as far as I could tell, this was missing an oven?), and a sizeable bathroom. The interior is filled with nostalgic decor and equipment harking back to the sixties, giving the whole unit a rather unique vibe. It is not quite "the summer of love", but it's very close. If you care about these sort of things: the TV was absolutely enormous, there were at least two fire extinguishers, and the bed had a remote control to move the head or feet section up and down.

Breakfast was a DYI affair. On the one hand, this means you can have a fresh breakfast at any time you like, on the other, if you are in a hurry to leave in the morning, you may not want to spend extra time baking eggs and washing up afterwards.
