Cuckoo Cabin, Tyn Y Cwm

Just had a great weekend here. My dream location for a secluded little get away. You are literally in the middle of the woods away from all noise & people. There’s zero light pollution when it’s dark which I absolutely love. The owner Dave was amazing very welcoming & gave us lots of info on where to walk & the nearest beach etc. his little dogs were so lovely & played with our dog. The cabin is very cute & big enough for what you need. The bed was very comfortable & with an electric blanket which was needed as it got a little chilly in the night. I had my coffee every morning sat beside the river that runs right by the cabin. It was bliss. We shall definitely be back.

Great location , good to get away and go off the grid as to speak. Definitely recommend. Host was great , kitted out everything you need.

The location was amazing, you couldn’t be more rural, river mountains on doorstep, fab!The cabin was really cosy and clean. Friendly welcome. Electric blanket was a welcome bonus having arrived late and not wanting to start the wood burner.

Just a couple of things would make it more luxurious. Shower gel and milk would have been great as a long track to get back out to shops but the owners did say knock if you need anything. There was nowhere to put your clothes in the bedroom, a couple of wall hooks would sort this. Maybe a rug in the bedroom too. Just little adjustments to elevate for the price.

über eine sehr schmale Strasse durch den Wald zu erreichen. Alleinlage mit schöner Wiese und Grillmöglichkeit am Bach. Wandern und Fahrradfahren möglich.

Ursprünglich ein sehr schönes kleines Holzhaus. Leider wurde es schon seit langem nicht gepflegt. Es ist kalt und feucht, da es direkt am Bach liegt. Heizen kann man nur im Wohnraum mit einem Holzofen. Im Eingang=Küche gibt es nur einen Mini Elektroradiator. Schlafniesche und Bad sind nicht zu Heizen, keine Steckdosen. Die Dusche im Bad ist renoviert, aber das Wasser läuft nicht ab. Wasserhahn ist nicht fest, kein Toilettenpapier!!!!! Bett ist klein in einer Nische und durchgelegen. Schranktüren der Küche fallen ab. Insgesamt müsste mal GRÜNDLICH geputzt werden!

Beautiful, beyond gorgeous location! Cabin is sweet, not too small for two. Everything you need is there for a comfortable stay. The river and valley the property is on is just breath taking and worth visiting alone.

There was nothing we didn't like. It was all lovely.
