Der Check-in-Prozess über die Plattform Vikey war leider sehr unprofessionell. Etwa eine Stunde vor der geplanten Ankunft erhielten wir eine unklare Anleitung zum Selbst-Check-in. Wichtige Informationen wie die Hausnummer fehlten und der Zahlencode für das Schlüsselfach war fehlerhaft. Auf telefonische Nachfrage reagierte der Besitzer arrogant und verwies lediglich auf die unvollständige Anleitung. Die Parksituation war ebenfalls problematisch: Die Einfahrt und der Stellplatz sind extrem eng, insbesondere für grössere Fahrzeuge wie SUVs. Zudem wird in der Beschreibung mit einem „überdachten Parkplatz“ geworben. Tatsächlich handelt es sich lediglich um eine beschädigte Stoffplane, die kaum Schutz bietet. Nach einer stürmischen Nacht fanden wir sogar Äste auf unserem Fahrzeug. Auch die Sauberkeit liess zu wünschen übrig: Die Toilette roch unangenehm, in der Dusche fanden sich Haare vom vorherigen Gast. Die Dusche selbst ist sehr klein, verfügt nur über eine provisorische Abdeckung und entspricht nicht dem Standard, den man in Mitteleuropa oder in vielen anderen italienischen Unterkünften erwarten würde. Sehr störend war die mangelhafte Temperaturregelung in der Dusche: Das Wasser wechselte ständig zwischen heiss und kalt, sodass es kaum möglich war, eine angenehme, lauwarme Temperatur einzustellen. Insgesamt macht die Wohnung zudem einen veralteten Eindruck. Die Wohnung liegt auf einem Hügel, was bedeutet, dass der Rückweg, besonders bei Sommerhitze, recht anstrengend sein kann. Insgesamt bietet die Unterkunft zwei Doppelbetten, wobei eines davon instabil war. Das Gebäude ist alt und hellhörig, was den Aufenthalt zusätzlich beeinträchtigt hat. Ich würde die Wohnung nicht für Familien mit Kindern empfehlen. Sie eignet sich eher für junge Reisende ohne Ansprüche, die ein Wochenende in der Nähe von Portofino verbringen möchten und mehr unterwegs sind als in der Wohnung.

Great location, close to train station and city center. Very good Balcony.

Apartment should be more clean. Floors were dusty. In kitchen there was capsule coffee machine with capsules. But capsules were not suitable for machine.

Good flat for distant workers. Internet access through leased line with good bandwidth Close to the station. Private parking.

The online check in procedure (https://guest.vikey.it) is a joke. This is what bad web-services look like. For long time leases the managers should consider changing sheets and towels at least every two weeks.

The apartment is spacious, with one of the bedrooms offering a nice city view. It is conveniently located close to the train station and a shopping street. Overall, I had a positive impression.

The bathtub is smaller than normal, and the bathroom itself is a bit outdated. The house is located on a hill, so be prepared for some uphill and downhill walking. This was a surprise, as I don’t recall it being mentioned in the description. Additionally, the parking entrance is not convenient for SUVs or larger vehicles.

Instructions were either not clear or non existent. Good luck finding the parking and which space to occupy. You'll need to try every key because they aren't clearly marked. Elevator was under construction and not usable, and all the dust from the construction welcomed us when we arrived. The washing machine isn't intuitive and no instructions were provided. It ended up tearing one of my shirts. The men that you deal with aren't the owners, but property managers. They are nice, but not the owners.
