Marina - Heart of Zadar

This is a great apartment, and with a few small changes would be completely perfect! Check in was easy and simple - we found the apartment with no issues and our host was most helpful with communication. There are three flights of stairs, but they are not too steep. The main space of the apartment is great - there is a very large and comfortable sofa, a large dining area, and a well equipped kitchen. The air conditioning keeps this space very cool. The bathroom is very nice, and the two bedrooms have plenty of storage space. The location makes visiting and sightseeing in Zadar extremely easy. It is lively outside until late, but closing the windows keeps out most of the noise. Some reviews mention an issue with water in the bathroom - while the shower could use a shower tray or door, the problem can be easily solved by placing one of the extra towels provided outside the shower to stop any water running out. The double bed is in a bedroom with no windows - this allows a peaceful nights sleep, but the pillows and mattress are very soft. The other bedroom, on the other hand, has two single beds with very firm mattresses, although it does have a window.

To make the apartment perfect, I would suggest replacing the three mattresses and pillows with medium mattresses and pillows, and providing a fan in each bedroom so that the windows in the twin bedroom can remain closed. Finally, there is a missing curtain rail that needs replacing. Overall, this was a great place to stay and visit Zadar, which is a wonderful city. I would strongly recommend visiting Puntamika Beach - it is about a 10 minute drive away from Old Town Zadar.

La ubicación era perfecta

El estado de la finca, estaba muy deteriorada. El piso tenía varias cosas estropeadas, eché en falta ropa de casa. La habitación principal no tiene ventanas.

Spacious apartment in a great location in the old town. A quiet location considering it was close to everything. Toni was very accommodating about providing extra towels and a late check out.

Some of the cooking utensils were broken or worn such as knives and grater.

Very clear instructions to find and check in

The apartment was modern, comfortable and very clean. It is a great base for exploring Zadar, very close to the action but in a quiet residential block. A comfortable apartment for spending a week or more with good space for relaxation after a long day and for dining in when you don't feel like going out.

We found the bedrooms a little warm in the height of summer (August) as there is only air-conditioning in the main space. Also, for others booking, we liked the ambience but be aware that the local church bells start early. Pack earplugs to avoid a startling wake-up call or two - particularly on Sundays!

The location and all the facilities

Great location, very close to everything in the old town but on a quieter street. The apartment was spacious and nicely decorated. It also had air con which we appreciated.

It was lovely and fine for us but it is up 3 flights of stairs for anyone who might struggle with that.
