Hotel Ai - coupls hotel

Large room, clean, breakfast, very quiet, parking spot, no issue whatsoever I got caught arriving during busy week end. No accomodation left in town (Nagano). I booked at AI copls hotel for a saturday night and dropped in with my wife and 2 large suitcases. This hotel provides a secretive meeting place for illegitim couple. It is not a pick up joint.

Front desk is not at the front to avoid face to face meeting with customers. I had to go to the kichen and the laundry to get the manager to get to the room. You can lock the room door inside with a dead lock and a door jammer, but you cannot get a key to lock it from outside, if you intend to get out to a restaurant, the manager lock it and unlock it for you when you come back

Despite all of the above mentioned negatives, the staff were lovely. They were sensitive to our unease and tried very hard to reassure us.

This is a dodgy hotel that should come with a warning. It is a Japanese love hotel with condoms and other associated stuff in the room. The room was also very dated and stank of cigarettes. My wife was very uncomfortable.
