33B South Shore Village

Really lovely little chalet, spotlessly clean with just about everything you could want! Helpful hosts answered all of my questions although I didn't actually meet them. Providing ample tea and coffee was a really nice touch, thank you. Towels and all bedding provided (not all chalets do this!) and the electric meter is extremely cheap to use so please ignore all of the reviews quibbling over this! Small shop on the next site (about 3mins walk) selling all of the basics (and alcohol!) plus beach gear, books and newspapers. Excellent chippy too! About 40mins walk from Bridlington train station, but very easy to find. I loved this chalet and I loved South Shore Village - great location, very quiet, lovely walks and close enough to the seaside arcades etc if you want all of that stuff.

Several loose paving slabs on the raised patio area made it quite unsafe to use. A small veg knife would've been handy for slicing cucumber, lemons etc - there was only a huge carving knife!

Very close but o the sea. The dog and I could walk to the beach without having to cross a road. It was clean neat and tidy

Would have liked a table to sit at for dinner and breakfast We should have checked the size of the bed. A standard double a bit small for us We couldn’t work out the shower.

Location..amazing

Cost...then having to pay for electricity only noted in details after booking , not before. Bed..uncomfortable Heating... needs simple instructions.

Towels were provided There was a few plates to use. Iron and board. It’s was clean and tidy. Just had a funny smell

For £200 for 2 night stay I was very underwhelmed. No signal in the shed (if you can even call it that), WiFi didn’t work, heating didn’t work and hot water didn’t work. Luckily the electric shower worked and we were able to have a shower to wash away the ‘damp’ smell the place smells of. Then to top it off we had to add money to a meter for the electric. The bedding didn’t look like it had been washed.

We were moved to another apartment after checking in. Ben the host was very helpful and caring The location is 2 minutes from an amazing beach. Easy access on foot, about 50mins walk along the beach path to town.

The coin box for the meter was a pain. We spent quite alot of money, over £21 between 4pm on Sun and 9am Weds. We were out all day Mon & Tues. The weather was very cold. This is the ONLY negative. We would definitely stay again but later in the year

Had issue with no tv lead n heater not working a nice lad came n solved the issues politely and swiftly good service
