Epacha Game Lodge & Spa

Very friendly staff, who great you on arrival with a drink and cooling cloths. Large room, with great indoor / outdoor shower. Amazing views and main building, with bar and infinity pool. Great dining, breakfast, lunch and dinner available.

Wifi was only really available in the main building, with poor connectivity in the room. Evening meals were good, but lacked choice. The bar area was not always staffed. The hotel is built on a hillside, with the chalets a steep short walk. Staff do provide buggy transport.

Game drive was disappointing as we did not realize that the lodge only had antelope and giraffe. The guide was excellent, very informative and knowledgeable, and made the tour better than it was.

The private safari was not worth, the lodge did not specify that there is not any benefit compared to the grouped ones.

The property was absolutely beautiful! the lodges and main house was stunning. The pool area and bar had such a nice setting and the spa was amazing also. What really made the stay super special was the amazing staff who really took care of us and made us all smile

it’s one of the nicest lodges we’ve seen with a grand central structure including pool fronting some hillside villas. the evening game drive was fabulous with plenty of giraffe, zebra and springbok to look at.

the food wasn’t nearly as good as some of the smaller lodges we stayed at. no wifi anywhere except in the main building sporadically. overall you just can’t help but wonder why they charge double most other lodges when they’re not offering anything more other than a fancy reception.

This is a beautiful place, lovely facilities and great staff. The food was great and the ambiance lovely as well. The highlight was a very nice braai outside for dinner our first night! The sundowner game drive was also another highlight - I'd recommend it.

The only thing I can complain about is that the pool should be heated during winter. We had beautiful weather but the pool was way too icy to enjoy. Another thing others should be aware of is that the lodge is +-45min drive to the Etosha main gate, making a trip to the game reserve a full day out.
