The Anchor Hotel & Bars

Nice clean rooms… Nice bar downstairs and little disco lights and arcade.

The entrance to the hotel needs to be signed outside so you don’t go into the pub looking for the entrance to the hotel

The room is very comfortable and has a fan in the room

The doors are really loud when closing and the noise from other guests as they head back in walking past your door you would think people would be respectful

Good location, ample parking

only good thing was location near beach

the room we had was small nothing like the pictures the tiny bathroom was claustrophobic toilet so close to sink i struggled to sit down!!! there was small patch of dried blood on side of wardrobe floor was bit sticky couldnt have been cleaned properly before we got there bed was clean but felt bit damp like it needed airing it was very warm weather and the only saving grace was a tower fan which was ok. the window only opened about three inches so useless!!! Also no where to put any small clothes as there was no drawers!!! managed to stay three nights not the four id paid for couldnt stay any longer also on the last day morning woke up itching with bites all over me!!!

Location was perfect close but not too close to fantasy island
