Hotel Iberia - San Juan

I loved the proximity to restaurants and the airport. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The best thing I remember was the fact that you could not check in after 12am. The main door is locked, and you have to have a key to get in and out which made us feel very secure.

The only thing I didnt like was the fact that we had to step up into the bathroom and the toilet was a little too low for me and my husband as we are taller. If you are on the shorter side you will be fine. We also did not have any hot water so showers were very short. You have to also be mindful whne travelling with your luggage. There are no elevators so be mindful.

This was a perfect stay over boutique style hotel for a cruise. All worked out perfectly!

Overall excellent stay in this family-run hotel. Nice size room and bathroom. Cold AC. Within walking distance of beach, Condado district and nearby shopping areas. Great and affordable location as I needed a place to stay before my cruise the next day.

The location and easy checkin process

I left very disappointed with my stay. The room was not clean at all. There were stains on the sheets and pillows, and there was even hair inside the mattress. The bathroom had insects moving around, and the shower area was dirty. Water pressure was very weak, making it difficult to use the shower properly. The room only had three bars of low-quality soap as amenities. The sheets and towels seemed unwashed, and the room was full of mosquitoes. In addition, the Wi-Fi did not work at all. Noise from the neighboring room was extremely loud; we were woken up at 3 AM, and the sound insulation was essentially nonexistent. Even though my expectations were not high, the level of cleanliness and overall condition of the room was unacceptable.
