The location was great, right in town and easy walk to shops and river.

The property needs some work. The smaller bathroom is pretty gross. A lot of water damage, mildew in the shower, the shower door fell off when my daughter used it, out dated, shower kept leaking. We had a bad problem with ants while we were there. The owners tried to accommodate but it was over a holiday and limited in what they could do. However, it was a severe ant issue and really impacted our trip. There were several outlets not working in the bunk room. Kitchen cabinets were sticky. The tile in master bath had been painted and was peeling. I took photos of furniture damage just in case we were to be charged. Overall, I think we overpaid for what the photos show compared to what we encountered at the property.

The accommodation was very clean, featuring spotless bedsheets, towels, and furniture. Situated in the charming town of Kernville, it was close to grocery stores and restaurants. It had a well-equipped game room housing a billiards pool, ping pong table, darts, cards, and various board games for guests' enjoyment. The spa is meticulously maintained, and the barbecue grill was clean and ready for use. The kitchen is fully stocked with all amenities and utensils necessary for cooking and dining. All the bedrooms and the living room were equipped with air conditioning units. Although heating was available, we exclusively utilized the AC units, which sufficiently provided warmth throughout our entire stay. We checked in using the code provided by the hosts and they were kind enough to let us check in an hour earlier. The place is an hour's drive from the 100 giant Sequoia monument and close to hot springs the Kernville river and Isabella Lake.
