Some minor issues with the self closing fire hinges on all doors squeaking every time a door was opened or closed making it noisy at night, but rectified after first night. No batteries in the carbon monoxide alarm but replaced by me and worked once this was the case. Only one key available between 8 guests and internal phone access to allow other guests access did not work

Location

Property was in a bad state of repair. We had asked as we'd seem a previous review if everything had been rectified and we were assured it had been but nothing had been fixed. Booking.com had also advertised the property with free on site parking. Which we found out too late didn't exist. I believe they've rectified that now. We had to be moved to another apartment because the boiler didn't work but the 2nd apartment had so many problems too. One bed the springs had gone and the shower doors were off their rails one shower you had to hold with your hand as you couldn't attach to the wall. I took pictures of everything as they requested ..£300 deposit. Which they did promptly refund. Communication between myself and the support team was done over WhatsApp and although they were extremely polite they fell well short of expectations. We were only there for a long weekend thank goodness and weren't able to find suitable alternative accommodation otherwise we would not have stayed. Also the lounge didn't have suitable furniture for 6 adults to chill in.

The location.

They don’t mention the property is at the very top floor so if you have a lot of luggage be prepared to go up a flight of stairs. There is no lift. Multiple room heaters were not working during my stay in the winter so it was very cold. Also the hot water would go on and off. I had to take a cold showers during the winter. Shower door and hose were broken in one bathroom. For 5 days I paid over $1200. Not worth the value and no type of compensation offered. Also it’s not mentioned that these are college apartments so the layout of the whole place is off putting.
