3 Wharf House The Wharf

I could not recommend this accommodation. Whilst the view was excellent (and probably one of the best in St Ives), the stay was spoiled in two important respects. The double bed was small and extremely hard to the point that member of the group had hip pain lying on their side and spent 2 nights on the couch. The other beds were also hard. More concerning was the scuttling in the ceiling between our flat and the one upstairs. We reported this to the agent who told us they had arranged pest control in the building. In the circumstances not a restful holiday. Requested partial refund and chased the agent for almost a month. In the end we were informed by booking.com that "we've followed up with 3 Wharf House The Wharf, however, no compensation could be provided in this case". Pretty poor considering we paid over £1,500 for a week's stay. Certainly won't be booking there again or any other property managed by Original Cottages/Cornish Horizons.
