Amazing location and perfect for a first time in Portsmouth with friends

Good location. Nice and quiet.

At first look apartment looked good. On closer look we found over 30 marks on walls and work surfaces. The sofa in the longer was not very comfortable and luckily there were only 2 of us as not enough seating in the lounge. The sofa in the lounge had a cover over it and at the end of our stay we lifted the cover to straighten it and the sofa was filthy with lots of marks on it. Needs replacing. The fan in bathroom and bedroom very dirty. Pillows very flat so maybe need some better ones. The kitchen could do with a toaster, jug and potato masher. Was a pain for parking as very limited near the accommodation.

The location of the property was perfect. It was walking distance to everything.

I have a couple of suggestion which I think will improve this place from good to great. It is something we struggled with and so as a suggestion, I really hope our feedback will be taken on board. 1. Privacy. Every room in the home is overlooked and there are no net curtains or blinds in the property. Therefore there is no privacy once the curtains are opened . Even the bathroom is overlooked and if the blinds are slightly opened to let light in, you can see through. As a family who had young and teenage girls, privacy was very important. But due to the above issues, we could not open the curtains much and enjoy natural light. This may not be an issues for some, but for us, it impacted on our comfort. 2. Fridge freezer. This is a property for 6-8 people. We were a family of 6 who stayed for 5 nights. We brought most food from home but due to the lack of space in the small fridge and little freezer space, it very difficult to store food in the fridge. There is space for a single fridge freezer and I feel this should be utilised. I understand this maybe ok for 6 adults but even then, there is not much space for water, drinks and diary.
