The Barn at Whitehouse Farm 18th century 3 bed Barn- Beautifully converted

The property is very well appointed, with everything you'll need, including those pesky charger cables you forgot (I forgot). Really clean, very spacious, and the welcome was lovely, too. Great to have the water so close by. We loved it.

Lovely home from home, everything needed was there. Lovely hosts rob & liz always at hand if needed. Yards away from the river witham over the flood bank. I slept in the groundfloor double bed which was really comfy. Tho not farmers as such they have some lovely animals to view. Apart from the flood bank lots of flat areas for gentle walks.

The location was stunning and the accommodation was really comfy and well designed. The owners were friendly and helpful with suggestions of how to occupy ourselves whilst we were visiting. Baby pygmy goats playing next door and an evening stroll along the river at the end of the garden were highlights.

Beautiful location, The barn was beautiful, clean and comfortable with everything we could have needed. Our host greeted us on arrival and explained everything to us, unfortunately I couldn’t use the bed up in mezzanine so they promptly came and made another bed up for me which was appreciated. Shower is wonderful, hot and refreshing , plenty towels provided. Kitchen has all facilities needed and basics you need to cook/keep things clean plus tea/coffee etc. I made up the wood burner towards end of week with the basket logs provided (weather not good enough to use in for pit outside) which was lovely and cosy. The garden is fantastic, well enclosed so safe to let the dog go out without worrying about him wandering off anywhere. Only slight criticism I might have would be that the original listing should probably state dogs aren’t to be left in the property unattended at anytime rather than it being sent in a message after you’ve booked. I fully understand the reasoning after it was explained why to us but would have been better to know before to make other arrangements We had a wonderful stay here , many thanks

Beautiful location right on the river, enclosed garden for the dogs. Everything catered for, chickens right outside the window every morning. Great hosts.
