Bric D'Alù - Barbaresco

Prachtige locatie, geweldige gastvrouw. Een echte aanrader!

Newly renovated space, clean, modern, very comfortable beds. Breakfast was yummy. Pool was great and the views are wonderful. The walk to Barbaresco is nice even though there are not too many options for food there.

Only instant coffee and tea available outside of the breakfast hours. It felt a little impersonal. No one lives there and outside of breakfast there is no one.

The host Monica is incredibly sweet and helpful. Even offered to wash some baby clothes for me. Room was very spacious, bed very comfortable. Amazing views.

Perfect accommodation for couples and friends. For us as a young family there are some challenges. The accommodation has some steps so navigating with a stroller is impossible. The breakfast is very Italian, do not expect a big continental breakfast. For us adults it was more than enough to compensate for the luscious Italian dinners but with little northern kids that swim and run a lot adding more bread and healthy toppings would be ideal. The pool is small but very new and clean. Obviously there were a couple sleeping there on their backs all day. Having kids, we used the pool to have fun in the afternoon. That wasn't received very well. The breakfast room had a baby chair, which was a big plus but it would be great if there was one in our room or at the terrace of the pool to feed our baby at lunch/dinner. A baby bath would have been amazing but not a necessity. Long story short, this place is fabulous when traveling with your partner or friend. If the property wants to attract more families then I would add a couple of things to make it more family friendly. If the property wants to attract couples and friends, just make it more clear, it's ok but I would have wanted to know beforehand.
