Coach House @ The Booth

Clean, practical, cozy and very central location. Host helpful and responsive.

Storage heater was off downstairs on arrival. Very cold weather so not a welcoming start. Host was very responsive though and someone popped over. I found a plug in heater as a short term rescue. Rest of stay was perfect. Just be aware that no parking, so have to factor that in as additional cost if you have a car.

Great location and although it is situated in the middle of town, it is on a side street and quiet. It was beautifully warm , clean and cosy.

Unfortunately there was building work very close by which started at 7.30am during my stay. There is a large bin and recycling area outside the fence flat, which didn't look pleasant. Perhaps a more secure lock on the fence entrance could enhance security and a few tubs of flowers on the doorstep would look welcoming. A small stepladder would also be helpful as I couldn't easily reach the kitchen cupboards.

The property was warm, comfortable and well appointed. The location was perfect for visiting Hereford being very close to the Old House, a key landmark of the city centre. The owner kept in touch regularly with notifications.

Some information including recommendations of things to see and places to eat might have been useful.

We stayed at Booth Hall Coach House for 6 nights and enjoyed every minute. The accommodation was charming and immaculate, with modern decor and furniture and we especially loved the old beams. The area was quiet, especially at night and we found the mattress a little creaky when turning over, but the shower was hot and a couple of shampoo and body wash sachets had been left for us. The kitchen was extremely well equipped which enabled us to eat in as well as well as eat out and there was coffee, tea, sugar and sachets of milk, which was really appreciated after a long journey by train. We arrived mid morning and the extremely helpful house keepers kindly stored our bags allowing us to go off to enjoy our day. The accommodation is situated right in the middle of town and shops, restaurants, bars and attractions are accessible within minutes. It was our first visit to Hereford and Booth Hall Coach House but it definitely won't be our last. Thank you so much.

Perhaps the creaky mattress but not enough to put us off staying again.

The location is perfect, and the space in the house is ideal for a weekend getaway. You are walking distance from a lot of the tourist spots, which is ideal.

The Coach House was all tht I could have wished for to make my visit to Hereford enjoyable, with easy access to the cathedral for concerts and several good coffee shops and eateries within a short distance.

A personal problem - I could only reach china etc on the bottom shelves of the cupboards in the kitchen, and the chairs weren't suitable to stand on to reach stuff on the upper shelves. Fortunately other friends staying in Hereford visited me and moved the other things I wanted to use so that I could reach them.
