Cosy 1 bedroom with garden 2 min from seafront

The kitchen was very reasonably sized and great to cook in. Liked that a dinning table was in it, making it easy to get up and doing the washing up quickly. Bathroom was clean; shower was nice. Purple shower curtain I liked. I won't call it a one bedroom it's more a semi one bedroom but with doors and different rooms. I think it's a great concept. It was close to the beach, which enabled me to go for long walks after breakfast and in the evening.

The smell when I arrived, I had to rush out No ironing facilitates, the owner may not be into ironing. But she needs to consider others, be reminded she's providing a service and so think of the occupants. No standing mirror, I'm not vain, but I like to see what I look like before heading out. The chippings on the walls, it appears there has been leakages in the ceiling and this has not been fixed. Unkempt garden with rusty chairs, I so badly wanted to sit outside and eat like I do in my own garden but the 'bushes' put me off. The garden needs a very serious make over, get rid of the broken shed. I go on but I will summarise. The host is not ready for a business venture, sort out the property. Think of the guests, not her preference only then should the property be put on Booking.com. Arguably the worst Airbnb I have stayed in! If she's reading this I am only been honest cos others may have worse things.

Location and convenience. Cute place and set up. Good bathroom and kitchen layout. Host was responsive when I got locked in.

Bathroom sink was blocked. Washing machine had not been emptied. No seating chair or couch. No curtains in bedroom. Lot of damp patches on ceiling and walls. I got locked in unexpectedly.

Loved the location, perfect for what I needed. Communication with the owner was amazing. Had a very comfortable and pleasant stay.

The location was perfect and the flat itself was nice - basic but I didn't need any more than that although an armchair in the bedroom would have been nice. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen clean. It was nice to look out onto the garden although I couldn't use it because of the weather. The hostess was very welcoming and responded quickly to my concerns although she was quite shocked by some of the problems because the landlord should have dealt with them. One of the most useful things was the fact there were electric chargers in the street so I could leave my car to charge whilst staying there.

I had a surprise when I opened the door to the washing machine and water spilled out of it onto the floor. Also the window above the bed leaked raindrops so that I had to move the bed. The bathroom smelled of drains and in the morning the basin tap ran with pale brown water. The key safe was a bit tricky to open and could probably have done with a smaller key fob as it was difficult to close when I left. There wasn't a dedicated space where I could hang my clothes.

Perfect location. Very clean and tea, coffee & milk etc plus chocolate. Host very helpful.

No internet or TV and very noisy through the night.

It was very clean and comfortable, the host left us chocolate and was very welcoming and kind. Great location!!!! so close to the beach as well as the city it was such a lively yet peaceful location. The bed was comfortable and the whole flat was very homely
