The copper tub and the bed were excellent, location is fantastic

Needed more towels and washcloths

The hotel boutique is well located in downtown, they don’t have restaurant, but it’s lots around the area!

Centrally located

You have to call night man to open door if you come in after 1 am and one night we kept knocking for 30 minutes until he woke up. There should be a ringer. But this didn’t take away from an awesome place.

Very clean!!

Fits the overused word ‘Boutique’ like a glove. Modern retrofit into an old casona in the city center. Location is two blocks from the Plaza de Armas. The day/ evening staff helpful and polite.

The phone number listed on Booking and on their website was the wrong one, which I brought up to their attention. Enervating when one is trying to call ahead from one’s car to drop off luggage, on a very busy street. The two sets of long and steep stairs to get to the rooms on the top floor - the second half of them, framed in glass panels NEEDS a banister or it is an ‘accident waiting to happen’ , especially when that open roof terrace with a bar goes live. The black light switches, in rooms that are on somberly lit are difficult to figure out what to press. Breakfast service is non existent, which is necessary to have on a place like this. Parking is off site.

The location was perfect, located just cross the street from the Artisanal marketplace as well as an Oxxo, which is like a 711. Central to everything, in a beautiful, pink stone historical building with friendly and attentive staff. Restaurants within walking distance, including late-night spots. We stayed in the Junior King Suite, which ended up being very privately located with our own stairway entrance located in a lovely open-air courtyard. Bed was very comfortable, soft linens, extra-large towels, and the room was clean! The floor felt very fresh, no dirty corners, absolutely spotless. Although there were mosquitoes in the property, did not experience any in the room. Copper bath was lovely as well!

Enjoyed everything! In their google page, it shows extra amenities such as bathrobes and L’occitane products which the hotel probably stopped offering during Covid, so just expect the basic toiletries. If you’re out late at night, just be aware that they close the main front door sometimes so you are locked out. Just call the front desk and someone will come out to open the door for you.
