We really enjoyed visiting St Davids, especially meet the Bluetits Sian Richardson, and exploring around Pembrokeshire! The room was lovely, and the bed was so comfortable. Everything we needed in the cottage was just perfect.

Generally the cottage was well equipped although a washing up bowl would have been a help. The fridge/freezer was small for a family self catering for a week. The oven seemed quite old and the control knobs were difficult to see where set. Most ovens now are circotherm.

The kitchen flooring was of hard tiles and proud of the cement surround. Therefore necessary to watch ones footing. Dropping any crockery would not survive. The settees were low and difficult to get out of for most people. The instructions for operating the TV were over complicated. In the bathroom the bath was large and as the supplied hot water was from an Ascot type boiler would not be filled easity with hot water. Also, the bath seemed to be made of metal so all the heat would be absorbed into the bath. Hence a cold bath! At night there seemed to be a knocking noise from the roof area during a windy night. It may have been the casement windows but it needs checking out.

We had a fantastic stay. The bed was super comfortable. The bath and shower were perfect. Kitchen facilities were great. Great location, very central and greatly appreciated the parking permit.

A washing machine is on the premises, which works great, but it would have been useful to have a clothes horse to dry clothes on after. As we visited in the summer, the heating was not on, and the weather was glorious outside, making it ideal for drying.

Very clean & cosy , lovely little village with a lovely pub with lovely food , ideal for a quiet week away , will recommend & would return

There was nothing we didn’t like.

Very comfortable beds. Very good shower. Excellent heating system plus ample fuel for sitting room stove provided. Parking permit provided for 1 car, really appreciated. Great position.

Nice fire. Nice to be welcomed with Welsh cakes and Milk

Only two things. It was freezing when we arrived (Hive was good but that first couple of hours could have been warmer ) and 10oclock feels a really early check out time when you’re away somewhere.
