I had a great time, loved the vibe, the staff is friendly and help you with any need. Food is ok for the price with a great taste of homemade. The front deck and yoga room are the best spots, this alone is worth the money. Very centric, you can walk to town easily.

None of the rooms have a lake view and some rooms face the restaurant and a construction, so the curtains have to remain shut for privacy, a fan would be nice for hot days. This is not a place to stay indoors all day (no TV, no A/C) but works great as a base to move around the towns of the lake.

Alison was very professional and tried her best to improve the situation but unfortunately the managers had the last say contacting me by booking.

The place is a building site. The room itself is great, but everything else that surrounds the room looks poorly, messy, misplaced and unclean. It gave me and my husband an unpleasant feeling. If I had paid a hostel accommodation prices I wouldn’t have minded at all, but we stayed in a double room with a bathroom and the prices are equivalent to what I would normally pay to stay in a decent charming hotel in Europe. The manager did offer us what he/she believed to be a better option but we didn’t like it either because the problem wasn’t the room itself; it was the ambient ugliness. I asked for a refund and I expressed my severely disappointment but I was told my expectations were too high and the prices are aligned with the market since the room is close to the lake. The whole walk to the lake from inside the building is an empty,dark, dirty corridor. The decking by the lake is broken and not well kept . I had been at that place 8 years ago and unfortunately now is just a decadent old building falling apart and been renovated at the same time . The prices are far too high for what the place has to offer. I would like to add that my towel were dirty and I had to pay a deposit for it. Nothing else was provided in the room. Avoid looking at the view from the balcony.

Location is great. I liked the option for the yoga classes with a lake view. Breakfast was very tasty and the beds were also very comfortable.

L’hostel est bien situé à la fois sur le lac avec un petit espace en bas et un petit ponton pour chiller et ainsi la vue avec le restaurant plus haut dans l’hostel. Également à côté de la rue principale si envie d’aller manger ailleurs qu’au restaurant de l’hostel qui est très bon.

Les chambres du moins mon dortoir était très sombre donc très peu de visibilité dans la chambre. Les lits sont sympas mais pas facile de monter et les rideaux ne sont pas tous fonctionnels pour l’intimité. Les douches sont pas nickel mais il y a pire c’était pas trop dérangeant

The staff — Maca, Kristin, Diego, Allison, and Nina — were incredibly kind and welcoming. I really enjoyed my stay and especially loved the back deck overlooking the lake.
