Buganvilia - Luxury villa - private pool by HD

I just wrote a super long review but for some reason it isn’t showing up in the profile. We had an amazing weekend at the house. The house has 5 bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. As the bedrooms are spread out over 3 floors, there is enough space distribution to give everyone space and privacy. Not only is there enough space for 10 people not to bump into each other all the time, it also has amazing common spaces to spend time together with plenty of room for everyone. We cooked delicious meals in the kitchen and on the bbq. We ate together in the terrace. The weather was stunning and the pool and terrace just perfect for the moment. All items in the house are of superior quality which really makes a difference. You feel at home immediately. We had to contact the host because one of the bedrooms did not have any curtains or black out on the windows. It was solved within a couple of hours! They bought and installed a black out curtain. No hassle at all. This is the perfect set up for friend reunions or large family gatherings. We had such a positive experience that I think we may just have started an annual tradition!

Villa itself is very nice

When we arrived, the house was not ready for our stay. There was no hot water, and all the boilers were disconnected. The beds were not clean, and several rooms had no Wi-Fi signal. The house was extremely cold, and it gave the strong impression that no one had been there for several days. We did not feel welcomed at all. Before our arrival, we received multiple messages with house rules and instructions, but it was clear that the comfort of guests was not a priority. We reported all the issues immediately, and the next day was completely wasted as we had to spend the entire day of our vacation waiting for the staff to address and repair everything that should have been taken care of before our arrival.

Our stay at this modern villa in Almancil, Algarve, was truly exceptional. From the moment we entered, we were captivated by its contemporary design, well-picked decor, and abundance of natural light. The spacious layout provided ample room for relaxation and entertainment for our family. The outdoor terrace and pool area were the perfect setting for unwinding, though the pool water was still a little too cold to be fully enjoyed at this time of the year. The villa's location was also ideal for exploring Algarve's charms.
