Hotel Moon & Sun Lisboa

The staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. The location was superb. We opted to include breakfast, which was light, but good. The hotel was able to easily set up airport transfers for us.

The beds were too firm for us.

Nicely recently renovated hotel in a central area. Rooms are very pleasent and bathrooms are new. The staff is kind and the breakfast is rich, tasty and varied. Fresh fruit, several pastries, croissants, eggs, freshly made juices. Very nice and open until late (11am)

The roads, either main street with cars or side street with pedestrians and singers, are a little noisy. The rooms doors bang when closed unless you use the card to unlock and gently pull the handle. Poor soundproofing of doors from corridors, I was woken by voices and cleaning noise several times.

Property was nice and central. Bed was comfortable. Breakfasts had a nice variety of options.

To save on power the fridge wasn’t connected. Going back downstairs to get a cord wasn’t an option for me when I needed to use it. I also stayed on 2 more nights, as I was part of a tour group and was in a different room. That room didn’t even have a fridge. After my long flight, I was in need of additional water to what was supplied, to counteract the dehydration I was feeling. They weren’t willing to give me some more still water, so had to go across the road to buy some. Access to an iron would have been nice. I would have liked to get some laundry done, but lack of information meant I missed the deadline.
