21 Callanish Luxury Pod

Clean pod with quality finish in fantastic location. In it own separate plot within the owners croft so private but owners are nearby if any issues.

It is a very clean, cosy pod.. It is very much like being in a motor home or caravan. It was well equipped. The bed was comfy. There was milk in the fridge and a bottle of wine on arrival. Fresh eggs were available from the owners who were very welcoming and friendly. The pod had underfloor heating, a fridge with freezer compartment, an electric hob, an electric oven, a microwave, toaster, kettle, a smart TV, Wi-fi, a Bluetooth speaker system and a DAB radio. Towels, tea towels and washing up liquid were provided. All the mains sockets also had USB-A sockets, ideal for charging. The shower was very large and there was a heated towel rail in the shower room along with soap and shower gels. There was a short rail with coat hangers. There is storage space at the end and under the bed. It has a large parking area. The views of the sunsets from the pod were great as were the chickens in the adjacent fields. The pod is within walking distance of the Callanish Standing Stones which can be seen from the front of the pod. The Visitor Centre is a short walk past the stones down a steep hill. It is a short drive to the other stones in the group. It is centrally placed on the island for sight seeing.

A clock would have been good. I used the DAB radio. A tray in the shower for shower gel etc would be useful as would a coat hook although I couldn't really see where one could go. These are very minor things though and in no way spoilt the stay.

Luxueuze pod. Grote spiegels die ruimte geven, gezellige zithoek, kapstok, boeken en kaarten over de omgeving, opbergvakken onder het bed, zelfs vloerverwarming! Lopend naar de standing stones, zodat je bij elk soort licht of weer foto's kan nemen.

Niets. Een tip: in de badkamer een toiletrolhouder en een extra haak voor de handdoek zou fijn zijn.

Unsere Gastgeber waren super freundlich, sehr aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Ein verloren gedachtes Schmuckstück wurde von ihnen gefunden und wir haben es wieder bekommen...vielen Dank dafür. Erholungsfaktor 100 %. Und eine Topsehenswürdigkeit "Standing Shones" in unmittelbarer Nähe. Wirklich lohnenswerte Unterkunft.

Die warme Wassermenge und der Druck der Dusche dürfte mehr sein.

Great situation to view the Callanish stones. Only about 300yds from them. Beautiful accommodation with everything you needed. Grant and Sharon welcomed us, supplied a bottle of Grants wine, 21 Callanish. Sharon gave us 6 eggs from their own hens. Fantastic experience. Recommended as a good base to explore beautiful islands.

I loved everything about 21 Callanish!! I wanted to stay near the Callanish stones - and this property 100% fit this requirement for me. This luxury pod was the perfect size for me. Extremely comfortable. Great wifi. The hosts were amazing! Great suggestions for restaurants. I appreciated the fresh eggs!! So peaceful.

There wasn't anything I did not like. I cannot wait to stay here again!!!

We had an amazing stay in the Pod. It was spacious, very comfortable and clean. In a private setting, just what we were looking for. The host Grant, made us feel very welcome and we loved the extras which made all the difference. (Free range eggs were delicious!) We hope to go back sometime and would highly recommend this accommodation.

Wonderful location. The luxury pod was exactly that - very comfortable and well designed. Lots of extras including eggs from their own hens were provided. Grant and Sharon were exceptional hosts - warm, friendly and helpful, with lots of local knowledge. We felt so welcome!
