Summer House - Surf INN

For 1.5 months, this room was my home. There are basic necessities here: dishes, a refrigerator, and a cafe below for delicious breakfasts. The hosts are hospitable and helpful. I felt safe in this space, which is important for a single girl on a trip. And there's a stunning beach across the street, where you can watch beautiful sunsets, ride a cool spot, and watch small turtles go out into the ocean. And you can even find comfortable places for swimming and beach holidays without a full house. There's also a good, working Internet connection.

The accommodation is located by the road, which is noisy, which may not be comfortable for some.

The staff there was super friendly and helpful. Near amazing beaches and good places to eat next door. It was okay for the price.

I had the room right next to the street which was too noisy for me, so I didn't sleep well. There are other rooms in the guesthouse that might be better as they are further away.

Simple room with double bed and mosquito net. Two fans provided and a nice basic bathroom. The person that greeted me was very friendly and helpful.

Next to the road so it’s a bit noisy.

Perhaps the best place to stay in Weligama / Midigama at this price point. Shana (host & son of owners) is such a great guy. Went surfing together, brought me a motorbike, arranged surfboard rental and even got me a discount at his friends restaurant. Right by some intermediate level surf spots in Midigama, with a surf shop / school right below. I wish nothing but the best for him & his family.
