Family fun on the lake!

It is a beautiful property with plenty of space for a family vacation. There are all sorts of things for the kids to do including basketball, pool table, darts, video games, kayaks, paddle boards, fishing poles, hot tub. There are also two fire pits where we made s’mores. The Tiki Hut area housed the pool table and dart board and had a poker table and a refrigerator. It was also air conditioned. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, electric griddle, etc. The cookware quality was far superior than any beach condo I have ever stayed at. There was also availability of seasonings as well as laundry soap, trash bags, shampoos, etc. The balcony area was nice to overlook the lake. Aunt’s Creek is literally 3 minutes away and we utilized our boats and their dock. The hosts were very accommodating and quick to respond to any questions. Silver Dollar City is nearby as well as numerous attractions. This was our favorite vacation yet.

The place to throw away trash was some distance away but I understand there is a lot of wildlife nearby that could get into a regular trash can. We saw a deer and a fox but I’m sure there are raccoons out there.

Tons of space, very quite, close enough to everything but far enough away to not have the hassle of constant traffic.

The house was beautiful, clean, and well stocked. Beds were comfortable. The views were amazing. The owners were fantastic and very communicative. The tiki bar/game room was a great addition to our stay. Everyone loved having use of the kayaks and fishing poles!

There really wasn't anything I didn't like, I just have a few helpful tips for anyone who is looking to stay there...GPS does not take you to the right location, so you need to contact the owner to get proper directions to the house. The driveway is partially gravel, somewhat bumpy, and steep in certain spots (the steep areas can generally be avoided), so it may be harder for cars with low ground clearance to get in and out. We had no issues with our truck. The steps down to the lake are very long, and the path down to the water is steep, so be prepared for a hike if you want to access the lake. The large fire pit is at the top of a steep hill, so another hike is required there.
