Τιποτα

Ήσυχο μέρος με πολύ ωραία θέα. Άνετο, καθαρό και όμορφο κατάλυμα, πλήρως εξοπλισμένο. Η κα. Φανή πολύ εξυπηρετική και πάντα διαθέσιμη.

Τα μόνα αρνητικά, που δεν έχουν να κανουν άμεσα με το κατάλυμα, είναι η πρόσβαση σε αυτό όπου στα τελευταία 600 μέτρα περίπου ήταν χωματόδρομος και τα μονοπάτια στις παραλίες που βρίσκονται κάτω από το σπίτι. Ο χωματόδρομος ήταν αρκετά πατημένος και φτάνει στο κατάλυμα και ένα συμβατικό αυτοκίνητο αλλά δεν παύει να είναι χωματόδρομος, ενώ το μονοπάτι προς την παραλία Ποτάμια ήταν λίγο πιο δύσβατο από αυτό που περιμέναμε (έχοντας και μικρό σκυλάκι μαζί) καθώς είχαν φυτρώσει κάποια πιο ψηλά χόρτα ανά σημεία.

This was our second time at Villa Fani in Kythnos. First, a shoutout to Mrs. Fani. Warm. Welcoming. Always available on the phone. Whether you’re visiting from Athens or abroad, she makes you feel at home. She’s eager to help you with practical tips like where to go for groceries, which beaches to visit, and give tips that make the island feel like your home away from home—not a place where you feel like an outsider. The villa itself is exactly as I remembered (and shown in the pictures). Well kept, spotless, and clearly loved. This is not an airbnb run to squeeze out every dollar. It’s Mrs. Fani’s own home, cared for year-round and rented just a few weeks a year. You feel that in the quality. Everything works. Every detail, from the appliances to the finishes, is well-maintained and in top shape. The setting is magic. You walk down a private path to the sea—just a few meters away. A quiet, almost private beach. Views that open wide over the Aegean. You’re in the best part of the island: northeast Kythnos, near a small fishing village, and only a 10 minute drive from the main town. Easy to pick up groceries or enjoy an evening out, yet with all the privacy you want. We’ll be back again. Mrs. Fani is a gem. The property is perfect. And the location—just unforgettable.
