The hosts couldn’t do enough to help us with everything from sight seeing to bus time tables . They responded so quickly so no time wasted . Very kind hosts

we were 2 single ladies travelling the bedroom was set up for a double bed . We didn’t want to sleep in a double bed so the hosts kindly put up a small bed . But that was not a problem just made it a bit cramped

Ideale ligging , alles was aanwezig . De koelkast en de schappen waren goed gevuld . De wasmachine deed goed haar werk en er waren zelfs voldoende wasspelden en een wasdraad om de was op te hangen . Overal waren er muggehorren aanwezig 🤗

Er was geen privé balkonnetje , maar wel een tafeltje met 2 stoelen , zodat we naast het huisje konden zitten

Il y avait tout comme sur les photos . Le frigo et les étagères étaient très bien fournies en vivres pour le premier jour et plus encore. Merci pour cela

La literie ne nous convenait pas . Appartement valable pour un séjour de 3 à 4 nuits max et à condition d être de sortie constamment. Si vous voulez rester plus longtemps vous êtes dans une cage. Le sèche linge était rouillé, nous avons du utiliser du papier collant pour éviter de rouiller les vêtements. Nous avons fait un très mauvais choix .

Nous avons adoré notre séjour! La petite maison est charmante. Elle est très, très bien équipée. Notre hôte nous avait laissé beaucoup de douceurs à déguster. L'accueil est charmant. La petite maison est très très agréable. L'emplacement dans la vieille ville de Chora permet de tout voir. Les chats de la rue sont adorables. Nous reviendrons !

We did not meet Maria but she was exceptionally helpful throughout and her communication was excellent. She left lots of nice treats in the house for our arrival which made us feel very welcome. The charming house is in Chora, up on the hillside above the town of Skala. It is right next to the windmills, a very short walk to the Monastery of St John and about fifteen minutes downhill walk to the Cave of the Apocalypse. The village is quiet (certainly during our stay in May) and very authentic. It would be nice to have a balcony or terrace but sitting out on the street still feels very peaceful and private. I recommend a walk down to the settlement of Grikos and the lovely Petra beach (about half an hour walk from the house) and if you are in Skala (a half hour walk or 2.5 euro bus ride) do visit Petrino, a delightful family-run cafe, and I would also highly recommend Agora restaurant. We loved how this stay had a full kitchen and we were able to cook while we were there to save some money! It was also super great to have a washer machine so we could wash our clothes. It was a close walk to the monastery, which is definitely worth visiting.

The place itself was great so this is not a direct reflection or criticism on the place, however where it is located you have to taxi or rent a car if you plan on going to a different town. Besides the monastery and the apocalypse cave there wasn't much to do in the town, so be prepared for transportation.

Very comfortable. Kitchen well stocked with fruits, coffee, tea, water, etc. Proprietor easily contacted to answer questions, like translating washing machine directions from Greek to English.

No complaints.

When the ferry arrives late after midnight to Patmos-one of the 7 most important warship destinations in Europe- the local GR-land lady Maria sending a polite clean taxi for the guests really opens "Doors to Revelation" driving to the high standards of hospitality up the top quarter of the island: Incredibly quiet place with filled refrigerator (water & snacks) as the sunny September morning proves that there is only a fresh bakery next to the near emblematic monastery. Discrete facility owner Maria reacts imm. on facebook and internet even when another taxi or public buses' schedule is needed. Sea view maniacs may easily drink Maria's generous coffee & tea deposits at the small table just outside the flat as the street is absolutely empty second half of September.
