The property was beautifully presented inside and out being very clean and modern, spacious inside living areas and Bed 1 and the hot-tub outdoors was so welcome after a long drive down. All the beds were supremely comfortable. The family bathroom was spacious and luxurious as was the en-suite. As a finishing touch the host had left a bottle of sparkling rose to welcome us and there were some tea bags and coffee pods and a bottle of milk too. This was great for us to attend a family gathering in nearby Paul and would make a wonderful base for a family holiday being a close if steep walk to Newlyn or flat walk to Paul.

Bed 3 although double was a bit "compact" would be my only slight negative but perfectly OK to enable 6 to stay if needed - we used it as a adult single.

Lock box was rather fiddly, particularly as someone had previously damaged it but got there in the end.

The size of the bedrooms was crazily out of proportion, not helped by the fact that the frame of the bed in the smallest room was so enormous that it took up an unacceptable amount of space so that, literally, one had to get in the bed even to work the blinds.

Lovely property. Very clean and well laid out. Everything seemed to be well thought out, including the towels downstairs to use in the hot tub. The welcome gifts were a really lovely touch.

There was nothing I did not like.

All. We would appreciate having at least one European power adapter.

The rental period is really very short! check out time is really too early an 11am checkout would be ideal

The house is modern and has everything we needed for our holiday. It was spotless. Comfortable beds with lovely white linen and thick towels. Hot showers and very good toiletries. Fully equipped kitchen and excellent Wi-Fi. Large television with access to Netflix etc (you need your password). We had great fun playing Cluedo which is in the cupboard. Outside is quiet with plenty of garden furniture- also a hot tub but we didn’t use it. Parking for two cars. Great stay - thank you Emma!

We found nothing wrong.

Not much. Very disappointing.

Does not look like the properly advertised. I initially thought I was in the wrong place. The leather sofas in the living room have been replaced with 2 mismatched desperately uncomfortable sofas that are very low. The dining table appears to have had a previous life as a work bench as it’s covered in drill holes. There are no dining table chairs just 2 benches with a fur covering stapled on to them. The kitchen counters were sticky. There is a bath at the property with an overhead shower- neither of which work. The bedding is all feather filled. I therefore had to bring my own and I had been assured the bedding would be removed from the main bedroom before arrival. It was not. There is only one working shower in the property. Fortunately there were only 3 adults in my group but 6 adults I think would be a problem. Had the images on this site been an accurate representation of this property I would have gone elsewhere. Never had a problem with booking.com before but this has been a massive and costly disappointment.

The house and location were fine.

We were contacted by the owner on the day of arrival and asked to pay an extra £360 to her directly due to extra guests, even though I advised customer services at Booking.com and her directly that there were 6 guests not 2 several months ago. We also weren't aloud to use the hot tub unless we paid her £100 directly to use it. Never was this stipulated by booking.com prior to booking. We decided not to pay this due to the extra cost paid on arrival and the general rudeness of the individual overall. The keycode for key press sent from booking.com was also wrong so i had to speak to the owner again to get the right one. To be honest I'm really dissapointed in this overall booking and probably won't be booking anything via this service again.
