Beautiful apartment, very well equipped and decorated to a very high standard. Fantastic view of the beach directly opposite and we were lucky enough to see the sunset too! We got parked really easily right outside. We had a minor issue with one of the beds and the owners actually replaced this by lunchtime the next day which was incredible! It was a pity we didn't book a longer stay to appreciate it more.

The locks were very modern and high tech and great from a security perspective but older people (my dad) may struggle with this.

"Beautiful, modern apartment in an excellent location. Couldn't have had a better stay."

Excellent location just across the road from the beachfront. We had beautiful clear views across the bay from the apartment. We stayed because we were doing the Morecambe Bay walk so it was near to Arnside and near enough to go to the Lakes the next day too. The apartment had everything we needed and was expertly furnished/decorated.

This was a lovely apartment, very stylish and modern and fine for a short break. It’s at the smarter end of Morecambe near Princes Crescent.

I think the hosts are new to the letting market and are possibly a little too over protective for my liking. Please make sure you read all the ‘small print’ and be aware that the sofa bed is not included in the price. Only one towel each but no where to hang it. Storage is one hanging rail per room - we were only there 4 nights but we had to hang wet coats on there too. Maybe a little too many technology controlled features.

"Absolutely awful."

Full review starts here: My family and I have never experienced such rudeness from a host in our lives. Alex has absolutely no people/customer skills. We booked this property last minute to see our grandfather who was close to passing in a nearby hospice. It was a very sad and emotional time for our family. The reason we picked this property was because it was marketed as 'family friendly', and having a 1-year-old, this was very important. I initially booked the first-floor property, because, having a toddler, I did not want a balcony, and I am afraid of heights. After booking, my accommodation was changed to the 2nd floor of the property, without being informed. I immediately contacted Alex and requested to be switched back and he then offered me the ground floor flat. I was a little unsure about this and his reply was 'you will like it'. Out first night was ok apart from the sensor lights in the hallway automatically turning on, even though no one was walking around at 3am! The next day, we left the property to see our grandad and got back around 3.45. our son was sleeping and needed to be put in bed. We tried to get back into the property using the codes, but they weren't working. We contacted Alex and he gave us some instructions but after trying these and failing, I suggested that the door was probably locked from the inside (by our toddler), when we were about to leave. The doors locks are easy to reach and play with. My husband called Alex to explain the situation and asked if there was a key we could use to enter the property and he immediately became hostile and very rude. He was raising his voice and speaking with a VERY condescending tone. Alex said there was no master key and there was nothing he could do because he was an hour away from the property and he basically didn't care or want to try and find a solution.

He hung up the phone mid-sentence. And after going back forth, for about 15 minutes, he demanded an apoligy from us and basically held our belongings at random before he reluctantly agreed to drive back and open the property for us. We left the next day. About a week later, I enquired about our deposit that was paid prior to our stay and asked when we were going to receive it back. No answer from Alex. After waiting and asking again about a week later, Alex replied and said he only refunded us £100 and STOLE £100 of our deposit because of the 'call out charge'. He basically stole our money because his property was inefficient! We immediately contacted booking.com about this and they agreed that the deposit paid was not for 'call out charges' and that the charge was incorrect, and he must return our money. We are currently waiting for our refund from booking.com. Honestly, Alex is probably one of the worst people I have done across in my entire life, AVOID!!!
