The swimming pools are open from mid-April to mid-October. Please note that it is recommended to book a table at the restaurant. Please note that the restaurant, La Table de Monrecour, is closed on Monday for lunch. Please note that the reception is open from 7:30 to 22:00. July and August, if booking a cottage: - In case of a no-show, your room will be held for 24h after the due arrival date. If guests still do not come, they will be charged the full reservation amount. the Domaine de Monrecour does not accept group reservations (more than 6 rooms) from the end of June to mid-September.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation. Warmly welcomed by friendly, respectful and efficient staff, we were delighted by this charming chateau with style and elegance, renovated to a very high standard, enjoying breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside. Firm mattress, crisp sheets, fluffy towels..... and generous-fitting bathrobes for once! Outstanding gastronomic menu for evening meal and copious varied breakfast. Lovely grounds to stroll around, a choice of two swimming pools and cottage style accomodation for non chateau guests.. Our elegant room on the chateau's first floor felt very grand. We loved it!

The outstanding gastronomic menu was not to be faulted, paired with not over-pricey wines, but a simpler menu for those staying more than one night and protective of their livers should perhaps be considered by the kitchen?!
