Central Cardiff - 3 Bedroom Home - Walk to Shopping Town Centre And Cardiff Castle

We were let down on the day by another let, so this booking was short notice. Good communication made it seamless to sort whilst myself and my children grabbed a bite to eat. The action house was spacious, well presented and very much a home from home. The kitchen was big and although we didn't use it, was well fitted out. The bedrooms were lovely and there were plenty of towels on hand for the three of us. Parking was a bonus, and because the city centre and bay area were in walking distance, we left the car at the property. We were attending a concert at Motorpoint arena and that was about 15 mins walk, so was ideal.

No toilet paper in either of the toilets, luckily we had bought one with us, but it could have been awkward if we hadn't. A welcome pack, couple of dishwasher tabs, washing machine tabs and washing up liquid would have been a nice touch. You get that in most other places. As it was we were eating out, so not an issue. But worth mentioning as other reviewers have. This property is currently near a construction site, but this did not impact on our stay or sleep, but I think it's worth mentioning. At one point my car was boxing in by two vans, but again I didn't need it at that time.

Construction nearby, loud early in morning, beds are horrible. They could make it far better if they spent money on beds. Was like sleeping on springs. Back yard was full of trash. See photos.

Let down by a few details, such as a rusty tap in the bathroom and a plug that did not seal. There was no welcome pack, so we had to work out which key to use for the car parking lock.
