GBGBModern and clean home from home. Beds were large and comfortable, high spec electronics.
No hot water when needed, contacted the host who got this sorted but had to wait for it to reheat for some time which we hadn't allowed for.
GBGBEverything was fabulous with this property. The place is stunning and the pictures are a true reflection of the house. Location is great with a short walk to the train station. Plenty of places to eat within walking distance. Parking at the back of the property is brilliant. 3 good size very comfortable double en-suite bedrooms. Nice lounge with satellite tv. On ground floor a good size kitchen / diner with doors out to rear garden which would be lovely in the summer. The house is well looked after and the owner was very helpful. Stayed here with friends for a weekend and we have all said we will return as we had all we needed and the place was so nice and comfortable and met all our needs.

GBGBLarge house, lots of bedrooms. It was nice that all the bedrooms had en-suites. It was modern and spacious. The area felt quite safe. It was also quite clean from what I could see. Nice furniture.
There was no blinds in the dining room or the living room so we felt like someone outside was looking in. It wasn’t very cosy. Also the all white interior felt a bit cold and clinical, especially with no blinds. We thought the host could be looking at what we were doing but that’s just speculating. In the kitchen there was hardly any cutlery maybe like 3 forks, no kitchen roll. There was a tea towel but it was hidden away like everything in the kitchen seemed to be hidden away not very accessible. We had hardly any towels between the 4 of us and we had to share. There was not enough toilet roll in the toilets. Also there was no hand towel in the downstairs toilet to wipe your hands. Also no bins in the bathroom. When we arrived we phoned the host as you had to when you first entered the property. He guided me through the house and made me feel like he was watching me on a camera as he seemed to know where I was walking when he was taking to me eg saying turn right to the stair case. After he was directing me through the house it made me feel uneasy as I thought he was watching us in the house. We only stayed one night and we all felt a bit uneasy. The host seemed a bit strange on the phone and he again reiterated to us not to touch the walls or the TV. The TV was so confusing to use and you didn’t feel like you could actually use it because he told you not to touch it. Also telling us not to touch the walls just made us feel like we couldn’t relax or be normal. I understand you want to keep it tidy but you need to allow people to relax. Also if you don’t want people to mark your walls, don’t paint them white!!!! Paint them a different colour.
