Apartment at 50 meters from the beach

Appart très bien situé 10mn de la plage. Bien équipé, spacieux, le calme 5minutes du centre de puerto de santiago. L'appartement reste frais si l'on prend soin de fermer les rideaux et ça c'est super cool...

Allez soyons mesquins un torchon de vaisselle supplémentaire serait cool !! 😂

Location very good close to lovely beach and resort

Location was convinient - close to the beach, restaurants and supermarket around the corner. It was usually possible to find parking spot on the back street. Apartment building itself seems to be well maintained depsite not being new and somehow behind modern standards - water supply and sewage systems were rather loud, which could be a problem for some.

Apartment certainly has potential to be decently comfortable and it would not take much to make guest experience so much better. Unfortunately it was given only some "lifting" treatment with priority to decorative elements (so it looks good on pictures) where things that really matter were either too basic or just unacceptable quality. Beds with lightweight metal frames (that of cheapest kind), bed linen and towels very poor quality (if donated to charity store, would not be accepted there), pillows covers not matching size of pillows. Kitchen utensils old, worn and random - good luck finding four plates, forks or glasses of the same kind. Plasticky toiled seat not matching size of toiled bowl. Investing euros worth couple of rental days to replace old equipment could seriously elevate level of guest experience. Before arrival we have been asked for estimated time of our arrival and to message host representative 30 mins before arrival, so they can wait at the property to hand us the keys. We have done our part precisely, but after arrival it was us who waited over 30 minutes for host representative to arrive which was not great start of our holidays.

Great location near playa las arenas and the apartment was very clean on arrival. Small terrace facing west with a view. Good WiFi and storage space.

Beds were extremely uncomfortable and creaky, with not much bed linen supplied. just thin sheets, which would normally be fine but the weather was colder than usual. The washing machine wasn't working properly and nor was the toilet cistern. Very little in the way of cleaning supplies or tea towels so we had to buy our own. The fridge was very noisy and so was the toilet cistern when it did fill (often had to do this manually). Bedrooms quite dark and one without any view outside (high level window). Check in was fine (communication on Spanish), but we had to wait a little and we were only given one key.
