Good location. Ample space for 2 people

The location was central and the historic centre of Lincoln was easily accessible from the property. The property was comfortable and quite well-equipped.

It wasn't possible to open the bathroom window for ventilation; for reasons of hygiene, a mattress protector should be provided.

Location except it was quite hilly.

There was a hint of dampness no doubt due to a lack of ventilation. Bed uncomfortable

Location was quiet.

There was a parking space at the property beside the steps and, as I am disabled and there was nowhere else to parking in the street, I found this convenient. I used the parking permit with my blue badges. However I got a parking ticket! I rang the number I was given for problems, to be told that it was NOT a parking space! I said that a NOTICE to that effect would have been helpful on arrival! This meant there was NO parking as the street was chocka with cars!

Location was fabulous Flat was modern (mostly) and comfortable

The bathroom was dated and slightly awkward to use Main issue was the flat was hot all the time, even though we had no heating on. The bedroom was boiling at night, so we used the handy fan which was lovely

No breakfast self catering

The property met most of our needs for our short visit to Lincoln. We were very fortunate to be able to park right outside the property but this was more by luck rather than planning or judgement. The property had pretty much everything to make a visit comfortable; iron, hairdryer fan TV etc - we didn't need to use the heating. Kitchen was generally well appointed. The view over the city was a tease - I wanted to see more ! The property was in reasonable distance of the Cathederal and other areas of interest. Similarly there were some good opportunities to eat & take refreshments in the area and relax.

I am trying to be constructive in making these coments; 1. Steps up to the door/Down to the street are very steep and I don't recall a handrail. This might be tricky for the more elderly. Even we exercised caution when using them. 2. All three double glazed windows for the property had 'blown' and deminished the views over the city and to the rear etc 3. The sofa has seen better days and was most uncomfortable 4. Whist the kitchen was pretty well appointed, we were going to have a boiled egg for breakfast but there is only ONE teaspoon in the drawer ! 5. Decoratively, the property is tired and needs smartening up. Paint is flaking round all windows. The painting on the window sill in bathroom is very shabby. 6. There was a degree of black mould in the shower room - wholly unacceptable 7. The surround on the shower tray is damaged as well as the sealant between the shower tray and the door - it appears to be leaking. 8. Lavatory seat was loose/broken 9. Bathroom window didn't open & no blind 10. Bathroom floor is uneven 11. Cold tap on wash hand basin was in need of repair. 12.Loo brush was in two parts..... These matters I have highlighted are things I wouldn't tolerate in my own home so I do not expect to pay to stay in a property and have these issues. If i was a person with mobility issues the surrounding lanscape would have presented a challenge. There are steep and very steep gradients one has to navigate and I feel perhaps this needs to be declared in the property description. Again, for people with mobility issues, navigating 'Steep Hill' is a major challenge and walking down into the city centre is one thing but walking back needs seriously thinking about. People need to know about this.

Clean, had everything we needed, powerful shower, good location for uphill Lincoln and nice views. Lovely community garden next door and although parking was tricky, we did find a space right outside. Great communication from owners too.

The bed's mattress was very hard compared to what we are used to, and the sofa was quite low and lumpy. It was clean and well decorated, but the comfort factor just let it down a bit. Quite expensive but comparable with other properties over the bank holiday weekend. See
