Tods Lodge - Quiet area in Derry City

It was cosy, welcoming and well equipped. Was located brilliantly as a base for our weekend activities.

Cleanliness

Very easy as they were in a locked box.

House is clean and roomy but could do with new mattresses as they were not very comfortable as they were old

Neighbours are not nice they keep coming out looking at you every time u pull up and also parking is very limited

Gary was a great host, gave me loads of information on the house and things to do in Derry.

Close to the city….quick walk through the park to the city…parking was great…

Had to keep pushing the button for the heating…

Quite location. We found parking space on the street each time. The heating system and WiFi works well. The house is as seen in the adverts, neat and functional. There is a folder of information on take aways, restaurant, taxis etc in the lounge. Gary was very helpful and gave us all the information we needed ahead of time. He arranged early check-in for us too but our flight was delayed so didn't need it but we requested 2 hours late checkout which he gladly granted.

I must have missed the fact that the toilet/bathroom was downstairs when I did the booking but it turned out not to be too much of an inconvenience. There was no 'wow!' factor for me which I like to see when in a home away from 'home'. I knew this from the adverts though but might be something the host can improve on. The house and fixtures/furnishings could do with some updating/modernising for a better appeal.
